About Palm Beach Kennel Club
On February 17, 1932, Palm Beach Kennel Club opened its doors for the first time. Since then, more than 34 million fans have passed through those doors. Originally built by the O.M. Carmichael Family, PBKC has had five different owners including Phil Bryan, Bernie Griffin, John Boggiano and most recently Arthur J. Rooney, Sr. and his five sons: Dan, Art Jr., Tim, John and Pat.
As Palm Beach County’s #1 spectator sport, PBKC has offered greyhound racing year-round since 1987. In 1991 simulcast thoroughbred racing was also incorporated into the club. Additionally, PBKC boasts one of the largest poker rooms in the state of Florida with more than 60 tables. In 2010, PBKC’s poker room became the first non-casino to host the World Series of Poker. We also have two restaurants which offer fine and casual dining.

Review of Palm Beach Kennel Club - "food good and the live action fun"
- on TripAdvisor
I have lived in Palm Beach County for over 15 years and avoided this place thinking it was going to be a dirty undesirable place. On a fluke yesterday a friend and I ,along with my son (9yr) went to watch a few dog races and the Preakness simulcast. After valet parking we entered the Paddock Restaurant and had lunch trackside while watching a few races . The place was surprisingly clean the food good and the live action fun . PS The ladies room was immaculate .
"Fun place out!" - Great Review of Palm Beach Kennel Club

Fun place out! The food is surprisingly good and fairly priced. You can blend this with the delights of watching the doggies race, getting close-up experiences there and, of course, you just might win some bets!
"We enjoyed a very good lunch at the Terrace Restaurant" - Great Review of Palm Beach Kennel Club

A group of friends went to a matinee at the Kennel Club. We enjoyed a very good lunch at the Terrace Restaurant. I was pleasantly surprised that the food was not only very tasty but reasonably priced. Many times, a restaurant in this kind of attractive gives you inferior quality at high prices. Definitely not the case here. We had fun cheering on our chosen dog - although we kept routing for a horse - silly us! Some of us came out winners, others came out with an afternoon of fun and entertainment. We all took caution in the motto to bet with our heads not over our heads.
